Depths of Knowledge Vol 4

2020

In this fourth volume of this series, I describe my practical approach to selecting figures before the cutting process begins.

I began the process by flipping through the pages of the textbook and noting the page number (i.e., depth) of the figures.

As I progressed through the pages I was aware of the positioning of each figure so that they would not completely overlap and having variable depth.

Unlike traditional collage, the figures were positioned by depth according to the page number where each image is found in the book.
